Hereâs how Salim Khan celebrated Eid without Salman Khan

This year the festivities of Eid were surely low and quite dim nationwide due to the ongoing pandemic and the lockdown. The festival which is known for its social traditions and meeting friends and family for some sheer khurma and briyani saw some low-key celebration this year. For movie-lovers, Eid is also the time when Salman Khan releases his new film and they rush to the cinema halls for a dose of bhai. However this was not the case this year, though the actor launched his line of hand sanitiser this year.

Salman Khan is currently stationed in his Panvel farmhouse while his father Salim Khan is in his Bandra’s residence, Galaxy apartments. Yesterday, Salim Khan spoke to a leading daily and expressed his regret on celebrating Eid without much fanfare and his son Salman Khan. Usually, an immense crowd gathers outside Galaxy apartments to catch a glimpse of Salman Khan waving at everyone on Eid. Salim Khan said in the interview that now he’s used to the empty streets outside his house and around, since it has been two months living in lockdown. The veteran screenwriter makes sure that he goes for a morning walk and then continue his normal daily routine at home.

When asked how was it celebrating Eid without his superstar-son, here’s what he had to say, “I just spoke with him today on the phone and we exchanged wishes. We are always in touch with each other through our regular phone calls.” Now that’s really sweet. The actor wished the netizens on social media and released his third single called Bhai Bhai.

Salman Khan was supposed to come out with his new film titled Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai this year on Eid. A film directed by Prabhudheva and starring Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. The film’s climax is yet to be shot and rumours are rife that once everything comes back to normalcy the film might release on Diwali.
