Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise has left the nation in shock. The actor who reportedly died of suicide has some impressive films to his credit, for which he will always be remembered. Last seen in Chhichhore opposite Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant had Dil Bechara coming up with newbie Sanjana Sanghi. A remake of The Fault in our Stars, the film has been directed by Mukesh Chhabra.
However, now we hear that Sushant was signed in for a film with rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. The same was confirmed by writer-filmmaker Rumy Jafry in a conversation with Mumbai Mirror. He revealed that both the stars were roped in for the project and shooting was to initially begin in May this year. The untitled rom-com would have had Sushant flaunting his dancing skills.
Opening up about the same, Rumy Jafry said, "A rom-com, it was to explore Sushant’s dancing skills. He was a fantastic dancer and my film would have showcased him in a different light. He loved Shah Rukh Khan’s acting and Govinda’s dance and that’s why I had a full-fledged dance number with Govinda-style moves planned for our muhurat. I may never make it; it was written keeping Sushant in mind."
He further added how SSR was looking forward to starting work on the rom-com but due to the lockdown, everything got postponed. Rumy Jafry shared, "He would get upset because he wanted to get back to work and rehearse."
Heartbreaking!
Fans and well-wishers of the actor have been sending out love and strength to his family.
