In his latest video, he talks about some rather quirky ways the government is implementing the lockdown.
Kartik dropped the new video with a witty caption, ‘Koki presents Sasti Monjulika #GoodNews #KokiPoochega.’ In this clip, as a part of his ‘Good News’ series, the actor shared some great and inspiring stories from all over the nation. While one of his stories is about a responsible citizen who’s going out on a daily basis to feed stray dogs, his other story is about a village in Odisha who had a unique technique for its people to follow lockdown and stay at home. They got a lady to wear a black saree and paint her face pale to spook people out so they avoid leaving their homes at night. Inspired by this story, Kartik tried to recreate something like this for his own area in Mumbai. To help him with his funny-and-spooky plan, his sister dressed up in white. While her first avatar in a white drape gets rejected by Kartik, the second time when his sister returns without a getup, Kartik approves of her look and calls it spooky. His sister Kritika, now annoyed, goes on to complain to her mother and to this Kartik said, ‘I hate nepotism.’
