Last week when Amitabh Bachchan announced on twitter that he'd been diagnosed with Coronavirus, the nation went into a shock mode. Later, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan also tested positive. People took to social media to wish the Bachchans a speedy recovery. Today the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar spoke about her concern for them in an interview.
She said, “It's like a slap in the face. It is hard to believe that the virus has struck Bachchan Saab and his family. The virus spares no one. We need to understand that it is here to stay. It's not going anywhere for some time now.” Speaking about Aaradhya, she said, “She is a child, she shouldn't suffer. I pray for the entire Bachchan family and specially for Aaradhya. I wish them a speedy recovery. I am sure all of them Amitabhji, Jayaji, Aishwarya, Abhishek and their daughter Aaradhya will be fine in no time at all.”
The singer said that she has nurses to take care of her and hence she’s not stepping out at all. She’s spending her time reading, praying, meditating and taking rest.
