As theatres are shut due to the lockdown and the rise of the pandemic, many filmmakers whose projects are ready have decided not to wait for a long time and rather release their films directly on OTT. Hotstar and Disney Plus have acquired some big ticket rights and will announce the releases officially tomorrow.
The OTT platform will hold a virtual press conference to announce some nine big projects that will release directly on the platform. What’s more, the press conference is going to be power packed as some of the biggest stars come together for this announcement.
We hear Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be present at this virtual meeting. The event will officially announce the release dates of several films and we can’t wait to know which entertainers are going to hit our screens at home soon to entertain us.
Last week Hotstar had announced that they will have Dil Bechara releasing on their platform which marks Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film. The film has already got the netizens curious as it will be the last time they will see their favourite actor at the movies. Sources say that Akshay Kumar’s Laxxmi Bomb, Alia Bhatt’s Sadak 2 and Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj – The Pride Of India will release on the OTT platform.
