Today noted filmmaker Aanand L Rai celebrates his 49th birthday and the director is flooded with birthday wishes on social media. The director who has made some great films like Tanu Weds Manu franchise, Raanjhanaa and Zero has some of his leading ladies wishing him on Instagram.
Aanand L Rai and Sonam Kapoor collaboration with Raanjhanaa had proved to be a hit. Moreover it was one of the finest performances Sonam Kapoor gave in her career and she always thanks the director for trusting her with such a bold and different role. Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram to wish her favourite director. She shared a candid picture from the set and captioned it saying, "happy happy birthday Anand sir! Thanks for changing everything in my life. Forever indebted to you, for having the confidence in me. Also cannot wait to eat with you again… @aanandlrai." Well, the actress did shine in the film and we would surely love to watch them again on the big screen.
Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram story and shared a picture with the director and said, "@aanadlrai… happiest birthday to u. The bestest year and all the love to u… missing our times on set a lot." The director and the actress worked together in Zero and despite being a small role, Katrina Kaif was called the best thing about the movie and her role won her accolades.
The director’s next is Atrangi Re starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.
