The coronavirus pandemic has brought everything to a complete halt. The film industry, in particular, has been severely affected. The sudden halt of releases, shooting and production work has caused a big impact. In the wake of all this, director Shashank Khaitan exposed an ongoing scam revolving around his next film Mr.Lele.
Shashank took to his Instagram handle and informed his followers about a casting scam. Along with revealing the imposter named Nitesh Sharma, Shashank said that Nitesh has been scamming people for money and other favours in order to land an auction for a part in the film. Shashank’s statement read, “URGENT – I have received many messages and emails from actors that someone, going by the name Nitesh Sharma Casting, is claiming to be a casting director for Dharma Productions and the film Mr Lele. He is asking for money for auditions and other favours. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FALSE… No one by this name works for Dharma. Also, we are not casting for Mr Lele, as the film is not happening at present.”
Have a look at the statement below.
Mr.Lele marks Varun Dhawan and Shashank’s third collaboration together. The film will see Janhvi Kapoor pair up with Varun for their very first time.
