Hereâs what Janhvi Kapoor and family did after members of their staff tested positive for COVID-19

Janhvi Kapoor is our guest on the latest episode of 10 Minutes of Happiness With Filmfare. The new show has our digital editor Rahul Gangwani interviewing some of the most loved celebrities and asking them some fun questions that help to spread happiness in these trying times. 

Janhvi who has been locked down with her father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor in Mumbai, got some quality time to spend with her family as it brought a force break to her busy schedule. However, things became difficult in the Kapoor household when three of their staff members were diagnosed with Coronavirus. Despite following the lockdown guidelines, the staff members were tested positive and this brought sudden panic in Kapoor house. Janhvi recounted that phase and shared with us how she got extra cautious in the house. “We were shaken for 5-6 days with these 3 cases at home and it's so funny no one had stepped out of the gate of our compound. So we didn’t understand how it happened. But now I am spending more time with my father, he wants hot water at night, I wear my gloves and run to the kitchen and get him hot water or steam. Not that he needs it or anything just for the precaution,” said the actress giving out the message that how everyone should have hot liquids to prevent themselves from the infection. She further adds, “I like that I have that responsibility. Constantly keeping a check on him (her father) and Khushi. And Biji and Asha, they are our help and I felt that I had to take everything under control. It made me feel cool.” 

Janhvi further even told Rahul Gangwani on the show that all of her staff members who have been tested positive are fine right now. “They have been discharged and they are fine now. We had also gotten our tests done and we had been tested negative. But we still practice social-distancing from each other and wearing masks and gloves at home. Just to be careful.” Janhvi is surely being a hands-on daughter but she also reveals that watching her behave like this her father and her sister think that she is overreacting now. And even had some fights with Khushi as they think she’s getting hyper or reacting too much. In fact, her dominant nature is making her father call her ‘headmaster’.
